No subcontracted crews. The people on your roof are on our payroll, on our insurance, and have been here an average of six years.
Why that matters more than it sounds
Most roofing companies this size are a salesperson, a truck, and a phone number for a crew they've never met. It's cheaper, and it is why so many roofs installed in this county leak within five years.
Marco Ferreira started Granite Peak in 2008 after eleven years running crews for someone who did exactly that. Every installer here is a W-2 employee. Every one is on our workers' compensation policy, which means if someone falls off your roof it is our problem and not your homeowner's insurance.
It costs us more per square. It's also the only way a 25-year workmanship warranty means anything.

How we work
Four promises, and what happens when we break one
The price is flat
Including rotten decking — you pay our material cost on sheathing and nothing for the labour to swap it. If we underbid, that's ours.
We clean up properly
Magnetic sweep of the drive, yard, and street before we leave, and again the next morning. Find a nail and tell us; we come back the same day.
We'll tell you to wait
If your roof has good years left we say so, in writing, with the photos. We lose the sale and keep the customer.
We answer the warranty call
Forty-one workmanship claims honoured since 2008, including four on roofs we installed for people who have since sold the house.
